Who Made It?

In some regions of Japan, traffic lights are red, yellow and blue instead of green. This is due to the Japanese language where for centuries, the same word, “ao”, was used to describe blue and green. A word for green has evolved later, but Japanese traffic law still uses the archaic term.

You might have heard that Google is named after the number googol which is 10 to the power of 100. A googolplex is 10 to the power of a googol – it could never be written on paper because the amount of zeros exceeds the number of protons in the entire universe!
