Counterfeiting money had some serious repercussions in the past, such as in England where 313 people were hanged for passing phony bank notes in 1817! Things were even rougher in ancient China, where anyone caught faking the emperor’s paper currency would have their hearts cut out.

There is a so called ‘Sinners’ Bible’ that was printed with the typo ‘Thou Shalt Commit Adultery’. There are only 9 of these Bibles, first printed in 1631, in existence today.

It was the British that came up with the ‘sandwich’ – this was invented by the Earl of Sandwich who was such a gambler that he didn’t want to stop for lunch. He instructed his servant to simply put some food in-between two slices of bread.
