Gabriel Iglesias was a contestant on the 4th season of the reality TV series Last Comic Standing in 2006. He was disqualified after he used a smuggled BlackBerry to talk with family and friends, which violated the rules of the show.

Kimura was a Japanese suffragist and marched stalwartly for the right for women to vote. In Japan, her writing on women’s rights was frequently quashed and she was even banned from having meetings in public places.
