Who Made It?

The sun isn’t merely that far-away ball of gas – it has an atmosphere that extends far beyond Pluto! The northern lights, for example, are the result of the interaction of solar winds with the earth’s magnetic field. In a manner of speaking, we live inside the sun!

The Caspian Sea is the world’s largest enclosed inland body of water. Its total surface area is a staggering 371,000 square kilometers. It contains 78,200 cubic km of water and is also the 3rd deepest lake in the world, reaching depths of 1,025 m below surface! Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Russia, and Azerbaijan surround the basin of the lake.

Uno was invented in 1971 by Merle Robbins, a barber from Ohio. Robbins had an argument with his son about the rules of the card game, Crazy Eights, and decided to make his own game afterwards! When he finally showed his family what he's invented, they loved it and printed the game as a pack of cards!
