Churros used to be the size of a bread stick and they are served for breakfast. They are typically fried until they become crunchy and then sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. They’ve had a controversial history and some say they originated in China – the churros we know today have taken many shapes and forms, but they are certainly European.

American football has evolved greatly since new rules were established in 1882, differentiating it from rugby. These rules gave each team several attempts to advance the ball. In an earlier version of the game, touchdowns were worth four, rather than six, points, and field goals were worth five points.
