Here is an astonishing figure: approximately one-third of all 30-year-old men who are not employed are either in prison or are unemployed ex-prisoners. Ex-prisoners have a difficult time finding jobs in their first several years as free people, with nearly half earning nearly nothing in this time period.

Foxes tend to breed once per year and will have up to eleven pups in just one litter. Both males (dogs) and females (vixens) are dedicated parents who will live with them until they are around seven months old. The parents will protect them and bring them food.

Sometimes people have lucky breaks, but these serendipitous moments do not usually come about through mere luck, but rather through courageous action and risk. We are wired to avoid risk because we consider more about what we can lose rather than what we can gain. That’s why it’s easy to stew in unhappy and unfruitful situations for a long time.
