The popular mystery game, Clue, or Cluedo in the UK, also spawned a television series in the UK, Australia, Germany, Portugal, and Sweden! The game never made it onto TV screens in the U.S, though. It was, however, turned into a movie starring Tim Curry and Christopher Lloyd!

Eleanor Abbott invented the beloved game Candy Land for children recovering from polio. Abbott sent her game design to Milton Bradley, and in 1949, Candy Land was sold to the public. The game is now available on CD-ROM, can be played on hand-held electronic devices, and has even had many special editions.
