The aurora borealis is more likely to occur during the autumn and winter months than the spring and summer ones because of the longer, clearer nights. These beautiful geomagnetic storms appear when charged solar particles pass through our atmosphere and collide with particles in the Earth’s sky.

Venus is a blazingly hot planet. Temperatures on the beautiful planet reach an average temperature of 450 degrees Celsius! This is interesting because Venus is not the closest planet to the sun. That title goes to Mercury. However, Mercury has no atmosphere to regulate temperatures.
