In 2014, researchers came up with a game featuring the biggest pop hits from the 1940's. They concluded that ‘Wannabe’ by the Spice Girls was the catchiest song of all time. It took people an average of 2.3 seconds to identify the song! Other catchy songs included ‘Mambo Number Five’ by Lou Bega and Survivor’s ‘Eye of the Tiger’.

Johnny Cash was well known for his wild escapades during the fifties and sixties. He once brought 500 baby chickens to one of his performances and set them loose in a hotel! He and his band mates also put cherry bombs in a toilet – this cause the plumbing to explode. Not surprisingly, he was arrested seven times during his life!

The didgeridoo is a wind instrument developed by the Aboriginal people of Northern Australia over 1,000 years ago. The instrument is played using a technique called circular breathing, which allows its users to create a continuous, uninterrupted tone.
