In the early 20th century, the turkey population reached dangerously low levels due to hunting and habitat destruction. The birds were just too delicious. Thankfully, with the help of conservationists, the bird has made a hearty comeback! There are even some parts of the country that are absolutely overrun with the bird.

Solid chocolate was first called “edible chocolate” and was invented in 1847. This all happened in the Fry and Sons shop, where it was cooked up by a pair of British confectioners by combining cocoa butter, sugar and chocolate liquid.
