Dominoes date back to the 12th century! It was played in China during the Yuan Dynasty and was referred to as 'pupai'! Much later, in the early 18th century, the game began appearing in Europe and, according to many scholars, spread when Italian missionaries brought the game back home with them.

Tide is responsible for more than a third of the liquid-detergent market. In fact, during the Great Recession in 2009, a survey found it was one of the top three brands people were unwilling to give up when money was tight. In some areas, it’s so coveted that it’s even a commonly stolen product for criminals to resell.

The word ‘hologram’ comes from two Greek words. ‘Holo’ which means whole and ‘gamma’ which means message. Hungarian engineer and physicist, Dennis Gabor, came up with the idea of holograms in 1947 and was later awarded the Nobel Prize in 1971 for the invention.
