Do you like word searches? The word search was born on 1 March 1968! It was designed and published by Norman E. Gibat and became a hit! Not only are they fun to play, but word searches help boost memory and brain health. Studies have even shown that they can help prevent against dementia!

Jenga may sound like a made up word, but it's not! It actually comes from the Swahili word 'kujenga' which means 'to build'! The name was chosen because the game has its origins in Africa and because the whole point of the game is to continue building an ever more precarious tower from wooden blocks.

Some Japanese specialties are risky business! Fugu, or pufferfish, must be prepared by chefs who have trained for at least 3 years, as the animal contains high levels of the poison tetrodotoxin.
