Black bears are the smallest bear species in North America. They are about 2 to 3 feet tall when they stand on all fours and 4-7 feet from nose to tail. They weigh between 180 to 400 pounds. The largest black bear weighed approximately 900 pounds. On average, a black bear lives for about 20 years in the wild.

It is believed that oranges get their name from the Sanskrit word for fragrant – naranja. The use of the word 'orange' to describe a cross between red and yellow wasn't recorded until three hundred years after the fruit appeared in Europe.

Don Pettit was the first astronaut to use a yo-yo in space. On board the International Space Station, he was able to demonstrate several tricks because yo-yos rely on the laws of conservation of angular momentum, which work in micro-gravity as well.
