In Argentina, there is a high number of Welsh speakers. Pretty crazy, right? Hundreds of years ago, Welsh settlers crossed the mighty Atlantic and inhabited the Patagonia Mountains. These settlers brought their language over with them, and now Welsh can be heard occasionally in the mountains!

Naomi Campbell was born in Streatham, South London and lived in Rome as a child. Her mother worked as a modern dancer! She was left in the care of relatives when she returned to London and was featured in Bob Marley's music video when she was just seven!

In some regions of Japan, traffic lights are red, yellow and blue instead of green. This is due to the Japanese language where for centuries, the same word, “ao”, was used to describe blue and green. A word for green has evolved later, but Japanese traffic law still uses the archaic term.
