Sometimes, humans are that bigger animal… If you feel threatened by an imposing turkey, call the authorities and try to make yourself as big as you possibly can. This might deter the bird, if you’re lucky.

Superstitions just might work! Scientists believe that people with lucky charms tend to attack a problem for a longer period of time because they feel like they are getting assistance from some other power. When people feel empowered, they usually perform a task at hand better.
