Newborn babies can only see about 20cm to 30cm in front of their faces. Everything else is a blur. By the time babies are one to two months old, they should be able to focus on something right in front of their faces.

One of the most famous and shortest stories ever written is six words long: “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” For a long time, the story was attributed to the writer Ernest Hemingway; however, versions of the story first appeared when Hemingway was only 7.

In a 2014 study, researchers found that listening to a certain genre of music can affect the decision-making process. People who listened to ‘chill-inducing’ music were more generous than a group of people who listened to music they disliked or people who didn’t listen to any music at all.
