Humans aren’t the only (serial) monogamous species on this planet. Many birds mate for life, as do wolves, gibbons and even termites. Beavers, skinks and some fish show similar commitment.

The smallest sample that can be clearly observed under a light microscope is a 500 nanometer long object. It is possible to observe smaller objects than this, but their features might be distorted. Anything smaller than 500 nanometers loses detail because of the wave nature of light.

Jellyfish can sting with their tentacles if they brush against you when you're swimming in the ocean. You also can get stung if you step on a jellyfish, even a dead one. Usually, jellyfish stings will hurt, but are not emergencies.
