The 13th century Franciscan friar Roger Bacon predicted the invention of the automobile, aircraft, and the submarine. He wrote, “cars can be made so that without animals they will move with unbelievable rapidity” and “flying machines can be constructed so that a man sits in the midst of the machine revolving some engine by which artificial wings are made to beat the air…like a flying bird.”

Players often feel uneasy in Lavender Town. This strange phenomenon is thought to come from the town’s score, which contains isochronic tones that often freak people out. In fact, the uneasiness that people so often feel in the town has come to be known as ‘Lavender Town Syndrome.’

There are many theories as to why Paris is called "The City of Light". Some say it is because it attracted writers, artists and intellectuals, and others say it is because it was one of the first cities with street lights. Who knows? It's pretty anyway!
