Animal Eyes

The Matrix movie started off as a comic book. The film makers who were previous writers for Marvel, conceived the Matrix storyline for print before deciding to make a movie out of it. The unnamed city you see in the movie is actually Sydney, Australia.

As some of you may know, Sonic can’t swim, and the reason why is rather peculiar. Yuji Naka – one of the game’s original programmers – simply assumed that hedgehogs couldn’t swim, so he wasn’t about to let Sonic do it either. Essentially they were cool with him running at the speed of light but swimming was out of the question. Rather embarrassingly, it turns out that hedgehogs are rather excellent swimmers. Woops.

The founders of Google met by chance. Sergey Brin, a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University, was assigned to show Larry Page around the prestigious campus when Page visited to see if he wanted to attend. Page, who was 22 at the time, had just finished earning a computer engineering degree from the University of Michigan.
