1985 saw the release of “New Coke,” an attempt to change the original Coca-Cola recipe and “modernize” the flavor. New Coke was met with immediate backlash, followed by protests and campaigns demanding the original flavor.

Have you ever heard of Anna Maria van Schurman? She was a Dutch artist who lived in the 17th century. Her incredible learning abilities and outspokenness gained her admission to the University of Utrecht – she was the first woman ever to study at a Dutch university. Anna Maria spoke 14 languages and wrote “The Learned Maid”, a defence of female education.

When “Never Say Never Again” was filmed, Sean Connery had a heated argument with his martial arts instructor. A fight ensued, and the instructor broke Connery’s wrist! Of course, no one ever heard of him again. Just for the record: his name was Steven Seagal. Probably not worth remembering...
