If you like fish, think about this! Farm-raised salmon is usually white, so salmon farmers add carotenoids, a type of plant pigment, to the fish feed to produce the natural pink color that wild salmon exhibit.

Though Charles Darrow is often credited as the creator of the popular board game Monopoly, an earlier version of the game was created by Lizzie Magie. In Magie’s version, players moved around a board buying properties and paying rent. In 1933, Darrow made a few small changes to Magie’s idea and sold the game to Parker Brothers two years later!
