There’s a persistent belief that the works of Shakespeare were actually written by someone else – the Earl of Oxford, Francis Bacon and Christopher Marlowe being the top candidates. This questioning of authorship is mostly due to the bias of 19th century scholars who couldn’t accept that such brilliant literature was written by a mere commoner.

Jellyfish, though beautiful, can sting with their tentacles if they brush against you when you're swimming in the ocean. You can also get stung if you step on a jellyfish, even one that isn't alive anymore. Usually, jellyfish stings will hurt, and might even itch, but are not emergencies. Though some jellyfish stings can be very dangerous.

The etymology of the word “iris” comes from the Greek language's word for "rainbow". This makes sense since the iris is responsible for eye color! According to myth, Iris is the personification of the rainbow and the messenger for the gods in the epic poem the "Iliad".
