Now that you know the longest game of cards ever played, how about a fact on the largest? This particular record is held by a place called Onchan on the Isle of Man. Taking place in June of 2013, this game saw plenty of hungry players gather on the isle – a whopping 225,000 of them to be exact. Now that’s a lot of cards.

You would think that keeping your fingernails to a reasonable length is a matter of mere practicality. Lee Redmond thought otherwise. From 1979 onward, she let her nails grow free and wild until they reached a world-record length of 8.65 metres in 2008. Unfortunately, she lost them in a car accident a year later.

The Ford Mustang was unveiled at the World’s Fair in Flushing Meadows, New York in 1964. On that very same day, the iconic car also debuted in showrooms across the country. By the end of that day, close to 22,000 Mustangs were purchased. Over 10 million Mustangs have since been produced in the U.S.
