Autumn is the time for Halloween and people celebrate it in many different ways around the globe. Some involve candy, and some others involve...peeling apples. In Scotland, there is an old tradition of apple peeling at Halloween. You take an apple and peel off the skin in one piece. This piece is then thrown over the shoulder – the letter it resembles is the initial of your future spouse!

Solid chocolate was first called “edible chocolate” and was invented in 1847. This all happened in the Fry and Sons shop, where it was cooked up by a pair of British confectioners by combining cocoa butter, sugar and chocolate liquid.
