The pain suppressant acetaminophen helps reduce pain and inflammation, but it can also temporarily dull your empathy! Researchers discovered that people who took acetaminophen were less likely to think other people’s pain was a big deal. Though the reason for this hasn’t yet been determined, scientists believe it has something to do with the structure of the brain.

Charles Darrow developed Monopoly in 1933. When he sold the game to Parker Brothers, the cards were handwritten, and the houses were made from wooden molding scraps. Darrow’s nieces suggested that metal charms from charm bracelets be used for the pieces.

Black bears are the smallest bear species in North America. They are about 2 to 3 feet tall when they stand on all fours and 4-7 feet from nose to tail. They weigh between 180 to 400 pounds. The largest black bear weighed approximately 900 pounds. On average, a black bear lives for about 20 years in the wild.
