Spot the Difference

A group of owls is called a “parliament.” The name draws from ancient Greek mythology. Athena, daughter of Zeus and goddess of wisdom and reason, is accompanied by an owl, representing freedom and democracy across the Western World.

MewTwo actually comes before Mew in the Pokédex. The reason behind this is that the creature Mew was a secret that even Nintendo was not initially aware of, programmed in by Shigeki Morimoto two weeks prior to the game’s official development wrapped up. Sneaky.

The word ‘bankrupt’ comes the Italian ‘banca rotta’, which literally means ‘broken bench’. This refers to the early days of banking in Italy, where the public marketplace would take place literally at the bench. If the banker ran out of money or behaved badly, his bench would be smashed to smithereens.
