Spot the Difference

You’ve probably heard the notion that diamonds are forever, or maybe you can even hum along to the popular song of the same title. However, nothing could be further from the truth: diamonds decay faster than most kinds of rock, they can become discoloured, shatter, and since they consist of pure carbon, they burn exceptionally well.

Autumn, especially in poetry, has often been associated with sadness. The possibilities of summer are gone, and the doom of winter is on the horizon. Skies turn grey, the amount of daylight drops rapidly. Many people use it as a time of rest and reflection, just like animals use the colder seasons to hibernate.

The Alamo has quickly established itself as one of the top destinations in the South. The building, a symbol of the turning point of the Texas Revolution, was a Spanish Mission and was established nearly 300 years ago! It had one of the first hospitals in Texas and at one point in time, the city of San Antonio and the U.S. government claimed ownership of the building.
