Did you know that “Sesame Street” was originally intended to be called “123 Avenue B”? The title was changed when the producers found that this was a real address in NYC. Still, quite a few things have changed over the years. Oscar the Grouch had orange fur in the show’s first season. Can you imagine?

The most famous sleuth in history is instantly recognisable by his cape and deerstalker – and yet, this isn’t the way he is described in the books. Holmes would only don such an outfit for cases in the countryside, and his cap is never identified as a deerstalker.
