The dragon fruit is actually a cactus! It's native to parts of Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and El Salvador but is now grown in tropical areas all over the world. The name is believed to have originated from its dragon-like appearance including its tough outer layer, complete with spikes that look like scales.

Are you familiar with the Angola Prison Rodeo? It’s the longest-running event of its kind in the United States. How it works is that four inmates play cards at a table in the middle of an arena in which a bull is eventually released. Like, an actual bull. The last man to stay in his seat is crowned champion!

According to National Geographic, “the shock of an electric eel has been known to knock a horse off it’s feet”. This fact alone is astonishing, but it raises several pertinent questions. In what situation is an electric eel hanging out with a horse? Is the horse in water, or the eel on land? How far is the horse knocked? Why has a video never surfaced on YouTube of such a phenomenon?
