The word ‘hologram’ comes from two Greek words. ‘Holo’ which means whole and ‘gamma’ which means message. Hungarian engineer and physicist, Dennis Gabor, came up with the idea of holograms in 1947 and was later awarded the Nobel Prize in 1971 for the invention.

2022 marks the year scientists released footage of a black hole for the second time. What was unique about this image is that this showed the black hole at the center of our galaxy. To capture the image, scientists combined telescopes from around the planet.

Much like cats and dogs, foxes can be both friendly and interested in humans. Archeologists have found a 16,500-year-old grave in Jordan in which a man is buried with his pet fox. This is 4000 years before the earliest known grave of a human and their dog!
