The random blocks and towers on the PlayStation 2 startup screen weren't so random after all! They represented the saved data of the games a player was playing! The longer a gamer was playing a game, the taller the towers on the saved screen were!

The most iconic card deck is the Bicycle brand of playing cards used by professional players, magicians, casinos, and casual card players all over the world. First produced in 1885, the brand gained popularity during World War II and the Vietnam War. In WWII, special decks of Bicycle cards were given to American POWs. When peeled apart and put together they would create a map of the area that would assist in an escape. Pretty smart!

The Great Emu War in Australia was a wildlife management program that escalated to a military operation. Emus were multiplying at alarming rates and destroying valuable crops. Crop destruction continued despite efforts, and humans lost the emu war.
