The man who invented cotton candy, William James Morrison, was a dentist! He invented the delectable delight in 1897. Both he and confectioner, John. C Wharton, introduced the candy at the 1904 World Fair as "Fairy Floss."

Jellyfish, though beautiful, can sting with their tentacles if they brush against you when you're swimming in the ocean. You can also get stung if you step on a jellyfish, even one that isn't alive anymore. Usually, jellyfish stings will hurt, and might even itch, but are not emergencies. Though some jellyfish stings can be very dangerous.

With a total length of 21,196 kilometres, the Great Wall of China is the longest man-made structure in the world. The mighty bulwark was constructed over the course of five centuries and was intended to fend off nomadic tribes, most notably the Mongols. It did so with moderate success.
