In 2001, it was finally published and won the Man Booker Prize for Fiction. It also won the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature in Best Adult Fiction. Over ten million copies of the novel have been sold worldwide.

When “Never Say Never Again” was filmed, Sean Connery had a heated argument with his martial arts instructor. A fight ensued, and the instructor broke Connery’s wrist! Of course, no one ever heard of him again. Just for the record: his name was Steven Seagal. Probably not worth remembering...
