The word ‘harvest’ is an old Norse word which means to ‘gather or pluck'. As people moved around to different cites, ‘harvest’ fell out of use and the city folk began to use ‘fall of the leaf’ which was shortened to just simply ‘fall’ – which is what is commonly used today.

Though Cisco sued for trademark infringement, both companies were ultimately allowed to use the name. Apple’s iPhone took off, and, chances are you haven’t heard of the Cisco iPhone.
