Not all dogs bark. Take the Basenji, for example. This dog doesn't really bark but instead emits a sort of yodel. Sometimes this yodel can even sound like a scream or a whine. Imagine coming home to your Basenji yodeling. Could be charming, or maddening, or even frightening!
Interesting Fact
One casualty of global warming might be the delay of autumn colors. Leaves change, in part, because of dropping temperatures. As temperatures remain warmer, the leaves begin to change later. One study found that autumn colors arrive five days later than they did just over two decades ago.
Interesting Fact
Lions are very sociable. They can be found living in prides of up to 25 cats, with 1-4 males, many females, and several cubs. Female lions usually stay in the pride, whereas males leave the pride and try to establish their own. Young male lions that have been banished from their prides travel great distances in search of other banished males to form coalitions.
