Cornwall is in the Southwest of England is not only one of the most beautiful regions in the UK, but also has its own language! Cornish is still spoken by between 3000 and 5000 people to this day. It is an ancient language that was widely spoken in Western regions before English took precedent. Here are some words in Cornish for you to go and spread: ‘Kernowek’ means Cornish, ‘dedh da’ means ‘good day’ and ‘onen hag oll’ means ‘one and all’.
