If you’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing the inside of a submarine, you would have seen that the submarine typically features a raised tower which holds radar equipment, the periscope and other systems.

Before the reusable plastic boards were introduced, Battleship was played with sheets of grid paper and a writing tool! It wasn't until 1967 that the plastic boards and small plastic ships were finally used in the game. They proved so popular that the paper version was retired.

The popular mystery game, Clue, or Cluedo in the UK, also spawned a television series in the UK, Australia, Germany, Portugal, and Sweden! The game never made it onto TV screens in the U.S, though. It was, however, turned into a movie starring Tim Curry and Christopher Lloyd!
