Math Quiz

In its original form, the popular board game Scrabble was simply a bunch of tiles — there was no board in sight! It was also first called “Lexico,” but was later changed to the far more catchy name we now know.

Math can be downright interesting! For example, most mathematical equations were written in words before the 16th century! Could you imagine what that must have looked like?! Speaking of which, did you know that ‘Forty’ is the only number that is spelled with the letters arranged in alphabetical order?

Although lightning bolts appear huge, they are actually just two to three centimetres wide at an average length of three kilometres. But mighty they are: at 30,000 °C, the heat generated by lighting is five times hotter than the surface of the sun!
