Most cards are laminated with plastic and players often believe that it’s this material that creates the sound. However, it’s actually the thin layers of glue that hold them together.

Impressionism was developed in France in the 19th century. Instead of painting inside a studio, the impressionists preferred to paint in the open air. Brushwork became fast and broken in an attempt to capture the fleeting quality of light.

The largest monkey in the world is the mandrill. Their bright red and blue facial markings give them an unforgettable appearance and are caused by blood vessels and collagen fibers. Their hands are also very humanlike, with fingernails instead of claws.
