While countries like Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, and others all developed their own types of suits and decks, it was a French version with its diamonds, hearts, spades, and clubs that spread worldwide.

Research from Britain has shown that the most commonly lost items are keys, phones, pens and glasses. That’s hardly surprising. What comes as a bit of a shock, though, is that the average person loses a staggering 3,000 possessions over the course of their lifetime, including 64 umbrellas!
