Many scholars agree that playing cards were invented by the Chinese in the 9th century. Some scholars say that the first “real” deck of printed cards was the 32-card Chinese domino deck that featured all 21 possible combinations of a pair of dice. The first cards were printed on paper, bone, and wood.

Lucille Ball was determined to be a performer. When she was just 15 years old, she left high school and moved to New York City to attend drama school.
