Not all stars are gigantic. Neutron stars have a radius of about 10 km (6 mi), but they might have a mass that is a few times the size of our Sun. These dense stars, born from core-collapsing supernova star explosions, also rotate at incredible speeds – an estimated 600-712 rotations per second!
