The first ever speeding ticket was given in 1902 to someone driving at a speed of 45mph. Back in 1902 cars were scarce and this was considered to be ridiculously fast and dangerous. Nowadays, a whopping six million cars are produced and sold every year, and the speed limit has increased quite a lot!

This crater was formed in Turkmenistan after a natural gas field collapsed into an underground cavern in 1971. A dangerous amount of methane was being produced by the crater and so geologists decided to set it on fire to mitigate the harmful effects. They expected it to keep burning for a few weeks – but it’s now been burning for over 40 years!

The tale of Lee, a mid-west American child, is indeed epic. From the age of two, he insisted he had another home and mommy, would claim his birthday was on June 26, his name was Coe, that we wrote films for a living and had a daughter named Jennifer. When Lee’s curious parents relayed several movie titles to Lee, he eagerly claimed he wrote “Gone With The Wind.” The actual writer of that film was born June 26, had a daughter named Jennifer and had the middle name Coe.
