In early Gothic literature, many women used male pseudonyms to better position their work for publication. There is an organization which is devoted to the study of Gothic culture, it is The International Gothic Association.

Our pets can tell us a lot about our personality. Apparently, dog owners tend to be more extrovert and easy to be around. In contrast cat lovers are more creative and adventurous (and a little neurotic!). A study found that pets can even influence our music choices – most dog owners name Paul McCartney as their favorite Beatle, and cat owners George Harrison!
