A project called ‘Flag Stories’ actually ranked the complexity of all the world’s flags, and Belize’s was ranked in the ‘impossible’ category.

Have you ever wondered why the steps and the handrail of the escalator move at a different speed? The reason behind it are the different lengths of the steps and the handrail, which are moved by the same motor. The actual speed is the same, but since the steps and the hand rail have different length, one will finish a full circle faster than the other, so they won’t travel parallel.

The funeral scene in the episode ‘The Message’ had real pain behind it. It aired right after the cast found out that ‘Firefly’ had been cancelled. Composer Greg Edmonson wrote the music for the funeral scene for that episode, but it was never used in the show. During the filming, the crew became good friends and spent much time together on the ship’s lounge set and not so much in their trailers.
