We’re pretty sure you’ve already noticed it, but the actor who plays the director of Hogwarts is not the same in all eight movies. The actor, Richard Harris, passed away after “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” and was replaced by Michael Gambon for the last 6 films. Michael Gambon wanted to retire though (he began to have difficulties with learning his lines). And Harry Potter films were not short at all! What a blessing he stayed till the last movie as Dumbledore!

Professor Severus Snape is well known for serving as Potions Master at Hogwarts, but don’t believe for a second that’s the only title he held. Snape was also Defence Against the Dark Arts professor and even Headmaster for a short period. He was also a member of the Order of the Phoenix and a Death Eater.
