Wernher von Braun was a leading figure in the development of rockets for Germany during WWII. In 1945, he faced capture by either the Soviets or the Americans. He chose the Americans and they secretly moved him to work on their rocket program at the end of WWII.

Flight of the Conchords was a radio show before it became a TV series. Rhys Darby still played the band manager, however on the radio show he was called Brian Nesbitt, instead of Murray Hewitt. English comedian, Jimmy Carr, however voiced the band stalker, instead of much-loved Mel.
