In ancient Greek folklore, the creation of the Milky Way came about when Hera released droplets of milk from her suckling bosom! It wasn’t her fault though, sneaky Zeus brought the infant Heracles to Hera to breastfeed when she was asleep and she woke up shocked, pulling the baby off her and thus creating the milky way.
