During the cold winter months, it's important for our little squirrel friends to eat. Incredibly, squirrels are able to smell food under a foot of snow! When they detect buried food, they set to work right away, digging a tunnel under the snow, and following their scent to the buried feast!

In some regions of Japan, traffic lights are red, yellow and blue instead of green. This is due to the Japanese language where for centuries, the same word, “ao”, was used to describe blue and green. A word for green has evolved later, but Japanese traffic law still uses the archaic term.
