Shortly after he was born, Steve Jobs was adopted. His biological parents had one mandate – that their son be adopted by two college-educated people. Clara and Paul Jobs never graduated from college, but the adoption went through anyways because it was agreed that they would make sure that Steve received a university education. He did end up going to college…only to drop out later!

Heterochromia is the fascinating condition when someone’s eyes are both a different color. It can indicate eye illness but can also be a totally normal eye color. It's not particularly common in humans, though Siberian Huskies, Turkish Angora cats, and several horse breeds are just a few animal types with frequent heterochromia.

Black bears are the smallest bear species in North America. They are about 2 to 3 feet tall when they stand on all fours and 4-7 feet from nose to tail. They weigh between 180 to 400 pounds. The largest black bear weighed approximately 900 pounds. On average, a black bear lives for about 20 years in the wild.
